" URANODENDRON I " concept study

" Uranodendron I" belongs to a series of photographic creations based on the unique perspective of observation that the art of photography presents. Constant transformation is a main characteristic of the natural Universe. Photographic icons immobilize and contain the perpetual motion and being of life and object by isolating the observed from the surrounding .
In " Uranodendron I " , trees are repeatedly correlated to a changing sky, creating a concept of tree-sky. " Uranodendron I " goes straight to soul and memory utilising the sense of vision on variations of a theme. It approaches the absolute idea of the tree-sky image.

. Yorgos Kousagiannidis
there is not even a soul

Yorgos Kousagiannidis is a young photographer from Thessaloniki, Greece. Although his main interest remain in documentary photography he found himself printing these shots in the darkroom. I guess the title describes exactly what he felt when he was out with his Single Use Camera.

Dark Shapes

The truth is that this pictures, remind me of the great time I had in SANTA FE one year ago. It was an unforgetable experience for me. I was shoted people and landscapes I had never seen before and I met many photographers either amateurs or well known. Unfortunately I had to return to reality, back. Now I'm here and I have this wonderful feeling as I'm sharing some of these moments with you.
